Painter’s Regret Treasure Map Location in Avowed

In *Avowed*, treasure maps can be acquired through various means—purchasing them with currency or discovering them while exploring the expansive world. The Painter’s Regret map, however, is found out in the wild.

You'll find the Painter’s Regret treasure map in the Emerald Stair area, the second significant region you'll explore in *Avowed*. Head to the northeast end of Coastal Farms, where you'll spot a large house positioned in front of a rock face. Be prepared to confront numerous enemies guarding the entrance before you can enter.

How To Get Into the Painter’s Regret House in Avowed

As with many RPGs, accessing the house isn't as straightforward as walking through the front door, which you'll find barred shut. After defeating the enemies outside, circle around to the right side of the house. There, you'll discover a walkway leading to an unbarred back door. Enter through this door to find yourself inside, where you'll see a large painting on an easel—the Painter’s Regret treasure map. Grab it to begin your treasure hunt in *Avowed*.

With the map in hand, navigate to the western side of the river southwest of Fior mes Iverno. Your efforts will be rewarded with the Painter’s Brush, a unique trinket that boosts your critical hit chance by 5%, enhancing your combat prowess in the Living Lands.
