by Aaliyah Apr 21,2025

A new kind of power is making its way into *Diablo 4*, and it's bound to resonate with fans of fantasy series like *Harry Potter* and *Agatha All Along*. However, becoming part of a coven and mastering these mystical arts is no easy feat. To help you on this journey, here are all the Forgotten Altar locations in *Diablo 4*.

How To Find All the Forgotten Altar Locations in Diablo 4

The Season of Witchcraft introduces a new Questline that enables you to delve into the realm of Witchcraft Powers. These powers are categorized into three major types – Eldritch, Psyche, and Growth & Decay – each focusing on distinct aspects of occult magic. To unlock these abilities, you'll need to gain favor with The Coven by earning Restless Rot through mission completions.

As you progress, you'll have the opportunity to upgrade structures near the Tree of Whispers known as Altars. While most players will concentrate on these main Altars, there's another type that unveils a unique kind of magic. Forgotten Altars offer access to Lost Powers, which are exceptionally potent. However, locating these Forgotten Altars is a challenge.

Unlike the main Altars with fixed locations, Forgotten Altars spawn randomly within dungeons across Sanctuary. This means you'll need to grind a bit, but since the seasonal Questline will guide you through various dungeons, you might not need to do much extra work. The effort is worthwhile, as the Lost Powers are among the most formidable abilities in the game.
