This animated series, a collaboration between Castlevania showrunner Adi Shankar and the Legend of Korra studio, Studio Mir, was first announced back in 2018. The eight-episode first season is finally on its way.

Plot details remain shrouded in mystery, but it seems the series will center around Dante, likely from the era of the first three Devil May Cry games, though any direct connections to the game's storylines are unconfirmed. Interestingly, Dante will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, known for voicing Nero in the video game franchise.

The last main entry in the Devil May Cry game series was Devil May Cry 5, released in 2019. Marking a triumphant return after a period of relative quiet following 2013's DmC: Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 5 is widely considered a top-tier action game, especially appealing to fans of titles like Ninja Gaiden Black 2.
