The South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) has assigned a "19+" age rating to the highly anticipated game, *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*. This rating is attributed to the game's content, which includes "excessive violence," "excessive profanity, profanity and swearing," as well as scenes depicting the use of various illegal substances.

In a heartwarming gesture, Hideo Kojima, the mastermind behind the game, presented flowers to actress Shiori Kutsuna, celebrating her completion of work on *Death Stranding 2*. Kojima expressed his gratitude, acknowledging Kutsuna's dedication. Despite the challenges of the ongoing pandemic, she managed to complete motion capture in Los Angeles, 3D scanning, and voice recordings in both Japanese and English across various locations. Kojima's message read, "For Shiori Kutsuna, that's it. I appreciate all of your hard work. Fantastic work, much obliged!" Shiori Kutsuna has been contributing to the game since the fall of 2022.

At the Tokyo Game Show 2024, Hideo Kojima unveiled exclusive materials for *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*. The showcase included several two-minute cutscenes, introducing viewers to the protagonist's allies. Among them is Tarman, portrayed by George Miller, who serves as the captain of the mobile base Magellan, navigating tar lakes. Fatih Akin plays Dollman, a living doll and former medium who has lost his human form. Léa Seydoux reprises her role as Fragile, bringing back a familiar face to fans of the series.

Another intriguing character introduced is Tomorrow, played by Elle Fanning. According to the plot, she was discovered in an otherworldly location resembling the realm of the dead. This ties intriguingly to the original game's tagline, "Tomorrow is in your hands."

One of the cutscenes features characters singing the iconic song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, while interacting with a pregnant woman named Rainy, played by Shiori Kutsuna. This scene adds a unique emotional depth to the game's narrative.
