Latest Deadlock update rebalances new heroes and nerf overall damage
Valve continues to deliver updates to Deadlock, even without a fixed release schedule. The latest patch, while not enormous, is a significant adjustment rather than a minor tweak. Detailed patch notes are available on the official forums.

Following the January 18th introduction of four new heroes, balance changes were swiftly implemented. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown when doing so. Calico's Ava ability can now destroy objects during its activation.
These adjustments also impacted existing heroes. Kelvin received a health boost (from 600 to 650), while Vendicta experienced nerfs to both bullet speed (reduced from 810 to 740) and movement speed (reduced from 9 to 8). In total, 11 heroes, including the newly released ones, received targeted balance changes.
Deadlock remains in closed beta, maintaining a steady online player count between 7,000 and 20,000 players.
