Clue

Marmalade Game Studio has just released the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue, also known as Cluedo. If you're a fan of this classic murder-mystery game, you're in for a treat as you can now step into the shoes of some of the iconic characters from the 2016 edition.

Who Are the 2016 Clue aka Cluedo Suspects?

The pack features beloved characters such as Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This update allows you the flexibility to use these characters in any scenario you desire, unbound by specific crime scenes or case files. It's a fantastic opportunity to relive your nostalgia by choosing your favorite suspect and integrating them into your gameplay. What's more, you can even mix these classic characters with the newer 2023 cast for a unique experience.

The fanbase has been vocal about their desire to see these characters return, particularly after the introduction of the more modern 2023 characters. It's great to see that Marmalade Game Studio has listened to the community and delivered this much-requested update.

There’s More Coming to the Game!

In addition to the 2016 Suspects Pack, Clue aka Cluedo is introducing a new game mode called the Retro Rules Set. This mode harks back to the original 1949 rules and is available to players at no extra cost.

The Retro Rules Set reintroduces old-school mechanics that alter the way you move and make accusations. For instance, game tokens will start from designated positions on the board, with Miss Scarlet always taking the first move—unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard takes the lead. Accusations can only be made when you're in a room, and Clue Cards are omitted entirely. Additionally, you cannot move through squares occupied by other players.

Make sure to check out the game on the Google Play Store to experience these exciting updates.
