Clash of Clans: Major Updates Coming in March 2025

Clash of Clans is set to roll out a groundbreaking update in March 2025, responding to player demands that have been echoing for years. This update promises to be one of the most transformative in the game's history, with significant features set to be phased out.

No Troop, Spell or Siege Machine Training Time!

Imagine attacking back-to-back without any wait times—this is what the new update brings to the table. Troop, Spell, and Siege Machine training times are being completely removed, making battles more dynamic and fast-paced. Additionally, hero recovery time is gone, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change will benefit players in the Titan League and below, while those in the Legend League will still adhere to the existing eight-battle limit per day.

This shift aligns with Clash of Clans' ongoing efforts to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, eliminating training time is another step towards a more fluid gaming experience, allowing players to engage without artificial barriers.

As part of these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats will be phased out, as they no longer serve a purpose. These items will be removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

There’s a New Match Anytime System!

When real bases are scarce, the new Match Anytime system steps in, allowing you to attack snapshot bases. These snapshots are saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These matches function just like regular battles, where you can earn loot and trophies, but the defender remains unaffected. This system, previously used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.

To balance the increased battle frequency, adjustments are being made to Trophy Curves, reducing the number of trophies earned per victory. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized at 10 minutes across the board.
