Firaxis Games has unveiled an exciting post-launch roadmap for Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 during a special livestream event. The team shared detailed plans for updates throughout 2025, catering to fans eager for more content in the iconic strategy series. The roadmap includes both paid DLC packs and free updates, ensuring a rich experience for players staying engaged with the game.

The highlight of the paid DLC is the two-part Crossroads of the World Collection. Part one, set to launch in early March, introduces Leader Ada Lovelace, four new Natural Wonders, and the civilizations of Carthage and Great Britain. Part two, arriving later in March, will feature Leader Simon Bolívar and the civilizations of Bulgaria and Nepal. Alongside these paid additions, free content will also roll out in March, featuring events like the Natural Wonder Battle and the Bermuda Triangle, followed by the Marvelous Mountains event and Mount Everest Natural Wonder.

March is just the beginning of a robust post-launch support plan. Firaxis has promised the Right Rule Collection for the summer, which will introduce two new leaders, four civilizations, and four New World Wonders. The period from April to September will also see the release of additional free content and updates, with Firaxis committing to further support from October 2025 onwards. While specific release dates remain unannounced, the roadmap promises a continuous stream of new content and improvements.

The livestream not only provided a glimpse into the future of Civilization 7 but also offered an in-depth look at multiplayer dynamics. Creative Director Ed Beach and Senior Designer Tim Flemming showcased different strategies for achieving victory, whether playing solo or against others. The event concluded with a Q&A session, addressing community questions and building anticipation for the game's release.

Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 is set to launch on February 11 for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S.
