At CES 2025, new accessories for the PS5 and a console from Lenovo were showcased, alongside a private unveiling of a Nintendo Switch 2 replica.

Sony Unveils New Accessories for PS5 Midnight Black Collection

Sony introduced a range of new Midnight Black PS5 accessories at CES 2025, enhancing the previously released DualSense wireless controller and console covers. These accessories are designed with a deep, rich shade of black and feature sleek detailing on various buttons and accents, perfectly aligning with the PlayStation aesthetic.
The new additions to the Midnight Black Collection include:
- DualSense Edge wireless controller - $199.99 USD
- PlayStation Elite wireless headset - $149.99 USD
- PlayStation Explore wireless earbuds - $199.99 USD
- PlayStation Portal remote player - $199.99 USD

These accessories will be available starting February 20, 2025, with pre-orders opening on January 16, 2025, at 10 am local time. Availability may vary by region, so check with your local retailer for more information.
Lenovo Legion Go S Powered by Valve's SteamOS

Lenovo also unveiled its next-generation device, the Lenovo Legion Go S, at CES 2025. This handheld is the "world’s first officially licensed handheld powered by SteamOS," Valve’s operating system for the Steam Deck.
The Lenovo Legion Go S boasts an 8-inch screen with VRR1 support and a chassis with fused TrueStrike controllers, featuring adjustable trigger switches and hall-effect joysticks. It supports cloud saves for seamless transitions between PC and handheld gaming, and includes remote Play to stream games from a PC to the device.
With SteamOS, users gain access to the full Steam ecosystem, including their Steam Library, Steam Cloud, Steam Chat, and Steam Game Recording. Additionally, all game, driver, and hardware updates can be managed seamlessly through SteamOS’s built-in system updates.

The Lenovo Legion Go S will be available in May 2025 for $499.99 USD. A Windows-based version will be released earlier in January 2025, starting at $729.99 USD.
Valve also announced that they are developing a beta version of SteamOS for other handheld devices, promising an enhanced gaming experience. This development marks a significant step toward making Steam and its vast gaming library more accessible to a broader audience.
Other Devices Announced at CES 2025

CES 2025 showcased numerous innovations from major electronic companies. Nvidia revealed the new RTX 50-series graphics card, while Acer introduced the eco-friendly Aspire Vero 16 laptop, partially made from oyster shells and recycled plastic.
Handheld devices continued to capture significant interest following the success of the Nintendo Switch. Although rumors circulated about a Nintendo Switch 2 at CES 2025, Nintendo has not officially confirmed any details, leaving the validity of these reports uncertain.
