Cato: Buttered Cat Is An Upcoming Platformer Puzzle About A Cat With A Piece Of Toast!

A charming new game, Cato: Buttered Cat, is coming soon to Android! The name's a clever blend of "cat" and "toast," perfectly reflecting the game's unique premise.

Ever wondered what happens when you attach buttered toast to a cat's back? The developers of Cato: Buttered Cat did, and the answer is pure, delightful chaos – a perpetual, gravity-defying spin!

Initially created for the 2022 BOOOM Gamejam, this project by Team Woll received such positive feedback that they decided to expand it into a full game. Currently available on Steam for PC, Cato: Buttered Cat is slated for release on Android and other platforms shortly. While the Google Play Store listing isn't live yet, you can pre-register on the official TapTap page to secure your Android copy.

This puzzle-platformer lets you control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Work together to solve puzzles, overcome enemies, and explore five whimsical worlds packed with quirky contraptions. Over 200 levels await, including side quests and hidden story elements to uncover. Plus, you'll have 30 different outfits to dress your feline friend in!

The cat's agility and the toast's projectile properties create unique gameplay mechanics. Use the toast to propel the cat to otherwise unreachable areas. Hidden rooms and Easter eggs add extra replayability.
