Cloisterwood, a lush, dense forest situated in the northwestern part of Reaper's Coast, is just a short trek north of Driftwood. Once you're deep within the forest, press and hold the left ALT key to reveal all nearby pickups.

You'll soon notice various herbs scattered at the base of trees, including the much-needed Blackroots. Though you only need one for the ritual, it's wise to collect several to be on the safe side.
