"Black Ops 6 Season 2 Unveils New Zombies Features"

Exciting news for *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* fans! Season 2 is just around the corner, and it's bringing a host of new features that Zombies enthusiasts won’t want to miss. Over a decade since its debut in *World at War*, Zombies remains a beloved and integral part of the *Call of Duty* experience. With Black Ops 6, Treyarch is not only bringing back the classic round-based Zombies but is also introducing thrilling new maps and substantial updates to enhance gameplay even further.
While multiplayer fans have much to look forward to in Season 2, Zombies players are in for a treat with several new features designed to improve their experience. One of the most anticipated additions is the co-op pause feature, which will be available in Season 2. This long-requested option allows players in the same party to pause the game, giving them time to regroup and strategize or take a well-deserved break during intense rounds.
Call of Duty Reveals Black Ops 6 Zombies Changes for Season 2
Challenge Tracking & Near Completion (Zombies and Multiplayer)
- Players can now manually track up to 10 Calling Card Challenges and 10 Camo Challenges per mode, making it easier to monitor their progress.
- If fewer than 10 challenges are tracked, the nearest ones to completion will automatically fill those slots, helping players identify and complete challenges more efficiently.
- The top tracked or near-completion Calling Card Challenge and Camo Challenge will be visible in the lobby and in-game through the Options Menu.
Co-op Pause
- In matches where all players are in the same party, the party leader can pause the game for everyone, perfect for strategizing or taking a break during high-round runs. This feature, highly requested since the game's launch, will finally be available in Season 2.
AFK Kick Loadout Recovery
- If a player is kicked for being inactive, they can now rejoin the game and recover their original loadout. This feature aims to minimize frustration for players who lose their weapons, perks, and points due to unexpected kicks.
Separate HUD Presets for Zombies and Multiplayer
- Players can now set up different HUD presets for Zombies and multiplayer, eliminating the need to adjust settings when switching between modes. Though this feature was delayed due to higher priorities, it’s finally here to enhance the user experience.
Alongside the co-op pause feature, *Call of Duty* introduces "AFK Kick Loadout Recovery," allowing players who were kicked for inactivity to rejoin with their original loadout. Progression is crucial in a *Black Ops 6* Zombies run, and this feature aims to reduce the frustration of losing essential items due to premature or unintended kicks.
Additionally, players can now create separate HUD presets for multiplayer and Zombies, making it more convenient to switch between modes without the hassle of constant adjustments. The ability to manually track up to 10 Calling Card Challenges and Camo Challenges for both multiplayer and Zombies will also streamline progression through the game's extensive collection of cards.
Mark your calendars—Season 2 of *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* launches on January 28, 2025, promising an enriched Zombies experience with these exciting updates.
