Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Arrives December 4th!

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," launches December 4th on mobile devices. This chapter concludes the Penacony storyline before the Astral Express journeys to the enigmatic Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.

Final Farewells and New Faces in Penacony

Version 2.7 brings a poignant close to the Penacony arc. Following Black Swan's suggestion to visit Amphoreus, the crew focuses on bidding farewell to familiar faces, sharing heartfelt moments, and enjoying a spectacular performance at the Grand Theater. This performance introduces two new characters: Sunday and Fugue.

Sunday, the former head of the Oak Family, aided by the mischievous Pepeshi, Wonweek, delivers a dazzling final act. As a 5-star Imaginary character, his Ultimate ability focuses on energy regeneration, bestowing the "Beatified" effect upon a teammate and their summon.

Fugue, also known as Tingyun, makes a powerful return after the events of Version 1.2. Having narrowly escaped death, she owes her survival to Madam Ruan Mei of the Genius Society. This 5-star Fire character excels at breaking enemy defenses. Her Ultimate unleashes a fiery attack, significantly reducing enemy Toughness and dealing substantial Fire DMG.

New Features and Events Await!

Version 2.7's warp events feature the return of General Jing Yuan (first half) and Firefly (second half).

The update also introduces the Party Car to the Astral Express – a luxurious marble bar with a robotic bartender, offering a unique relaxation spot against the backdrop of the infinite Cosmos.

The "Cosmic Home Décor Guide" event allows players to customize an empty storage room into their ideal living space. Using Express Funds earned through completing tasks, players can acquire furniture and create cozy areas such as bedrooms and bathrooms.
