Battlefield 6 Gameplay Footage Leaks Online
Leaked Gameplay Footage Surfaces for EA's Next Battlefield Game
Early gameplay footage from a closed playtest of EA's upcoming Battlefield game has appeared online. As reported by TheGamer, a Twitch streamer, anto_merguezz, reportedly streamed footage from the Battlefield Labs playtest. While the stream itself is no longer available on the streamer's page, recordings have circulated online, primarily through Reddit.
The leaked footage seemingly confirms the game's modern setting, a detail previously hinted at by Vince Zampella. The clips showcase intense firefights and highlight the game's destructible environments. Initial fan reaction appears positive, a welcome change after the less-than-stellar reception of Battlefield 2042.Last month's official unveiling revealed some key details, including the return of a traditional, linear single-player campaign—a feature notably absent from Battlefield 2042. This has been met with enthusiasm from players.
EA currently anticipates launching the new Battlefield game in fiscal year 2026 (April 2025 – March 2026). With the launch approaching, we can expect more official reveals soon. Given the current leak, it seems containing further unauthorized disclosures may prove challenging for EA.
IGN has contacted EA for comment.
