Where to Find Signal Redirector in Atomfall

The Signal Redirector is a unique tool in *Atomfall* that you won't stumble upon easily. Unlike items like the Metal Detector, it's not something you'll find on a trader or a corpse. Instead, it's tied to a crucial character in the game: Dr. Diane Garrow, a former B.A.R.D scientist.

To start your quest, you'll first need to gather leads from Wyndham Village about Dr. Garrow's location. Once you have the necessary information, you'll embark on a mission to rescue her from the Protocol prison camp in Skethermoor, a challenging area teeming with Protocol soldiers.

To ease your infiltration, consider meeting Captain Grant Sims in Wyndham Village. By assisting him with tasks like recovering stolen items, you can gain favor with Protocol, making your journey into the prison camp smoother.

The prison camp is located on the southernmost border of Skethermoor. Enter through the giant green door at the end of the southmost road to access the underground prison. Navigate through multiple levels, evading or neutralizing guards and robots. Remember, you can disable B.A.R.D robots to collect **Atomic Batteries** needed for The Interchange.

Reach the bottom level of the prison, past the dig site area, where Dr. Garrow is held in a standalone cell in the main room. To free her, you'll need the Signal Redirector, which is stored in the nearby Storage room on a shelf. Upon retrieving it, you'll earn the **‘Reverse the Polarity’ trophy/achievement**.

How to Use Signal Redirector in Atomfall

The Signal Redirector, crafted by Dr. Garrow, serves as a hacking tool that reroutes power within yellow junction boxes to different sources. This functionality can disable security systems or unlock storage rooms, among other uses.
