Get Ready for the Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test!

Arknights: Endfield is launching another beta test this January, building upon the previous phase with significant upgrades and new features. This exciting new beta expands gameplay and character options considerably.

Expanded Gameplay and Character Roster

As reported by Niche Gamer on December 25th, 2024, the mid-January beta will feature a boosted roster of 15 playable characters, including two Endministrators, all boasting updated models, animations, and special effects. Players can select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.

Registration opened on December 14th, 2024. Developer HYPERGRYPH has incorporated player feedback, resulting in refined combat, character progression, new combo skills, and a new dodge mechanic. Item usage and character progression systems have also been adjusted for a more immersive experience.

Base Building and Story Enhancements

The base building system receives a substantial overhaul, introducing new mechanics, tutorial levels, defensive structures, and the ability to construct and expand factories via outposts in various locations. A revised storyline, new maps, and challenging puzzles further enrich the gameplay.

While registration is currently open, the closing date for applications and the precise beta test start date remain unannounced. Selected participants will receive an email notification from publisher GRYPHLINE, including installation instructions.

Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1

Concurrent with the beta test announcement on December 14th, 2024, Arknights: Endfield initiated recruitment for its Content Creator Program Vol. 1. Selected creators gain access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events.

The program has two content categories: gameplay insights (reviews, lore discussions, livestreams, etc.) and fan creations (memes, fanart, cosplays, etc.). Both categories share the same requirements: original content, proof of ownership, and links to past work. Note that meeting the requirements doesn't guarantee selection. The application period runs from December 15th to December 29th, 2024.
