How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

Unlocking all three Arata stages in GHOUL://RE is no small feat, but with our guide, you can achieve it. While not demanding in terms of skill or exploration, these stages require a significant amount of Reputation grinding. Be prepared to invest time and effort.

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To kick things off, you'll need to gather 25,000 Reputation points and reach the rank of Special Investigator within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the Commission of Counter Ghoul (C.C.G. center) and locate Damiro D. Mado on the second floor. He'll task you with collecting 10 one-eyed fragments and 10 Kokuja fragments.

The quickest way to obtain these fragments is by defeating bosses like Eto and Tatara and then crafting them at a work station. For checking your Reputation, visit Saiyo Natsuki, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have all 20 fragments, craft them into five one-eyed Kokuja fragments at the crafting table. After completing the task, return to Damiro, who will then direct you to speak with "him." This cryptic instruction puzzled the GHOUL://RE community until it was discovered that "he" is Black Reaper of Doom And Despair. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

To unlock Arata stages 2 and 3, you must switch to permadeath (PD) mode to obtain the legendary armor. Team up for better results, as solo missions can be frustrating.

Once you've amassed 100,000 Reputation points, take the elevator in the C.C.G. building to the Laboratory. There, find Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, the man with the scalpel in a black suit by the door. Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Arata-Proto armor Stage 2.

Despite rumors suggesting different Reputation requirements, our experience confirms that 100,000 Reputation points are necessary for guaranteed success. Remember, you must play stages 2 and 3 in PD servers to progress; otherwise, you won't complete Stage 2 or gain access to Stage 3.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

For the final Arata Stage, you'll again need to be in PD mode and gather one one-eyed Kakuja fragment along with 500,000 Yen. Visit Black Reaper of Doom And Despair in the C.C.G. building, pay him the required amount, and he'll teleport you to face the Kishou Arima boss.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires decent gaming skills, involving jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing high damage. While challenging, with practice, even average players can triumph. Be prepared for multiple attempts, as each retry requires another one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen. Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor.

Arata-Proto Armor Buffs

Wearing Arata armor comes with significant buffs but also drains your hunger at an alarming rate. You can't eat while wearing it, so you'll need to remove Arata to replenish your hunger levels.

The armor's benefits are substantial: you can't be ragdolled, which is a huge advantage in combat scenarios. Additionally, Arata increases your character's tankiness, allowing you to sustain and deal massive damage. However, if your hunger depletes during a fight, Arata will start consuming your health bar. Be cautious, especially in boss fights, and consider removing the armor if it becomes too risky.

Reputation Grinding

The most efficient way to accumulate the required Reputation is by defeating bosses in PD mode. Although riskier, each boss kill in PD grants 1,500 Reputation, significantly more than the 500 outside PD. Killing regular Ghouls only yields 100 Reputation points, making them less viable for grinding during Arata quests.
