Adventures of a Cat in Space is a mix of a musical and point-and-click adventure

Earlier today, I wrote about the upcoming blend of action, puzzle, and farming simulator, Super Farming Boy, and highlighted how mobile platforms are becoming a hotbed for genre experimentation. I thought that would be the most unusual release I'd cover today, but I was pleasantly surprised by the announcement of a musical adventure featuring a cat lost in space!

Adventures of a Cat in Space is exactly what the title suggests. Due to a series of unfortunate events, you find yourself controlling a cat stranded in space. With only the ship's AI, voiced by the talented Arthur Darvill of Doctor Who fame, to assist you, you must navigate through the galaxy, explore alien planets, and solve puzzles to find your way back home.

Oh, and did I mention? This is a musical adventure! That's right, an all-ages journey where you won't just be tackling the traditional point-and-click puzzles but also collecting 11 unique songs crafted by children's composer David Gibb.

Adventures of a Cat in Space will launch with a lite version—a nostalgic nod to the past—that lets you dive into the initial chapter and get acquainted with the game's core mechanics. While I can't guarantee how well it will cater to the puzzle-solving prowess of your kids, I'm confident that many adults will appreciate the quirky humor embedded in this upcoming release.
