Five Dice is a dice game very similar to YAHTZEE, Yachty, Yatzy, and others, closely following the rules of Yahtzee. With a simple, intuitive interface, it's the perfect go-to for a quick break while standing in line, waiting for an appointment, or whenever you have a few minutes (or hours!) to spare.

TRADITIONAL GAME MODE:

Traditional mode closely follows the classic YAHTZEE rules. Each turn allows up to 3 rolls, with 13 turns per game. Tap the dice you wish to keep after each roll. Maximize your points by rolling at least three of a kind in each left-side scoring category. Score 63 points or more on the left to earn a 35-point bonus. Score on the right side in categories like 3 of a Kind, 4 of a Kind, Full House, Small Straight, Large Straight, Five Dice, and Chance. Your first Five Dice (five of a kind) is worth 50 points, with a 100-point bonus for each one after that. Traditional mode features its own leaderboard.

SEQUENTIAL GAME MODE:

In Sequential mode, scores must be assigned in a strict order:
Left Side - 1's through 6's
Right Side - 3 of a Kind through Chance
At the start, all score categories are grayed out and disabled. After the first roll of each turn, the valid category for that turn is enabled and turns white. After your three rolls, the score must be placed in that enabled category. The exception is if you roll a Five Dice; you may then score it in the Five Dice category, and the sequence resumes on the next turn. Subsequent Five Dice rolls earn a 100-point bonus, but scoring must still follow the sequence. Sequential mode has its own leaderboard.

RUSSIAN ROULETTE GAME MODE:

One roll per turn, then you must assign a score—even if it's a zero. There's a strategy to maximize your points; can you find it? Russian Roulette mode also has its own leaderboard!

PLUS GAME MODE:

Plus mode allows you to carry over unused rolls to subsequent turns. A standard game has 13 turns with 3 rolls each. In Plus mode, you still have 13 turns, but any unused rolls are added to your next turn. For example, using only 2 rolls on your first turn gives you 4 rolls on your second. If you only use 1 of those 4, you'll have 6 rolls on your third turn, and so on. Plus mode features its own leaderboard.

SCORING:

After each roll, all valid scoring options are highlighted in yellow for quick decision-making. Where you place the score from each roll is your choice. Each game consists of thirteen turns with up to 3 rolls each. After a roll, tap dice to keep them; the rest will be re-rolled. After three rolls, you must assign a score before proceeding. The first Five Dice scores 50 points, with a 100-point bonus for each additional one. Score 63 or more on the left side of the scorecard to earn a 35-point bonus.
