We’re thrilled to unveil Clash Crusade Version 0.1.1 — a major leap forward in our roguelike strategy journey! This update introduces a host of new features, gameplay refinements, and quality-of-life improvements based on your feedback. The siege grows fiercer, the strategy deeper, and the world more alive than ever.

🛡️ New Features & Additions

• New Town Buildings:

  • Watchtower: Grants vision and long-range attack power to spot incoming waves early.
  • Barracks: Train elite defensive units (e.g., Ironwood Sentinels) to reinforce your walls.
  • Moat of Razor Stones: A deadly trap that slows and damages enemies passing through.

• Legendary Orc Generals:
  Introducing 3 new boss-like enemies with unique abilities:

  • Gorak the Sunderer – Shatters walls and disrupts building placement.
  • Morgath Bloodfang – Summons warbeasts mid-wave.
  • Veyla of the Howling Storm – Unleashes AoE lightning strikes during night waves.

• Dynamic Weather System:
  Storms reduce visibility and damage ranged structures, while sunny days boost defensive unit accuracy. Weather changes every 3 waves — adapt or perish.

• New Crafting Mechanic:
  Gather resources from fallen orcs to forge powerful siege weapons and defensive wards at your Forge Camp.

• Hero Class System (Beta):
  Choose from 3 starter heroes to lead your defense:

  • Thalia, the Wardancer – Heals allies and buffs nearby defenses.
  • Borin Stonefist – Slams the ground to create shockwaves and knock back enemies.
  • Fenris, the Shadowstalker – Stealth-attacks and assassinates key enemy units.

⚙️ Gameplay Improvements

• Enhanced Pathfinding: Orcs now react smarter to terrain and traps — no more "wall hugging" exploits.
• Rebalanced Wave Spawning: More variety in enemy types and spawn patterns for true roguelike unpredictability.
